Avery's heart has just been crushed by her long time best friend. She decides to take on the problem the simplest way, (in her idea,) scientifically. For the upcoming State Science Fair, Avery decides to use her broken heart as her topic. She is going to find a way to cure her broken heart, by putting herself through the seven stages of grief. Avery can't do this alone, she needs the help of Aiden Kennedy, her ex-partner. Avery decides to ask for help from Aiden's older brother, who is in a sad state, and desperately needs extra credit. Grayson is recruited to help as an observer, and is sure to fulfill his duties as he always lives life to the fullest.
