The Reptile Room picks up the story of the Baudelaire children where The Bad Beginning ends. The rich orphans have just been relocated to a new caretaker, as they soon find out he is working with one of the most evil people in the world! Count Olaf. The new caretaker, is not evil. Nor does he have evil intentions. So why, does he work with horrible Count Olaf? Simply because he does not know any better. The kids try to warn the poor scientist, yet nothing works. will Count Olaf make away with the Baudelaire's fortune?
